Anna has an
infectious enthusiasm for her craft
although she is
very exacting in her fashion outlook. While she has amazing professional
relationships with international couture houses, she is strongly attached to the
concept of Real Style for Real Women and loves to create styles and looks
that relate to today's women who aren't the Size 8 or 10 used by fashion
houses.
She recently styled a plus size model from Brisbane (Size 16) and she was highly
excited to be able to showcase this in her magazine. She broke all concepts and
myths of no loud colours, no prints, ..... all these restrictions that
make bigger proportioned women feel they only can wear black and greys. As Anna
says, "it is all in the visual tricks to bend these rules."
She always seeks the very best
outcome in her styling. Anna has an amazing gift in being able to see a fashion
item on a clothes rack and immediately be able to understand its best use on
a person.
Her talents are
sought by many international couture fashion houses and has great relationships
with them such as
Georges-Chakra
(Lebanon), Elie Saab (Paris), Emanuel Ungaro (Paris),
Zang
Toi
(New York),
Christian Dior
(Paris),
Chanel
(Sydney),
Escada, Salvatore Ferragamore
to name a few.
In Anna's words: "I believe trends and runway hits can translate to wearable
styles for women regardless of size. The trick to choose the one that best fits
the size range. What suits a petite frame may be different in terms of design
for a real woman but they all stay to trend. So regardless of size, women can
look fashionable and up to the minute."
Her primary motivation is to
infuse confidence in women and men about their image and style that enhances
their appearance. Style communicates much about the wearer and Anna doesn't want
anyone hiding themselves behind dowdy or ill fitting clothes. Her ethos is to
make them feel proud of themselves and translate that to wearing garment choices
that create a powerful & confident image.
Anna's innate
sense of what style is, sets her apart from the rest.
While there are fashion rules,
Anna promotes her theme that
"Style Has No Rules"
