ISLANDS OF SOUTH AUSTRALIA

South Australia has been called the "extinction capital of the world" but this program looks at what incredible success has been achieved on the island sanctuary of Kangaroo Island, where there are more Koalas than people. This programme also visits the low sandy islands of Spencer gulf, accessible only by boat. These islands are now a sanctuary and to reach them we journey through waters that are home to the Great White Shark. In the knowledgeable hands of an experienced guide we journey across the island and into it’s waters where one of the rarest of marine creatures, the Leafy Sea Dragon, is captured on screen. This is also the place where Sea Lions welcome visitors with the unfettered joy of total security in their habitat.
